This is the latest infringement upon the Orang Asli forest lands:
The Kelantan PAS led State Government is notorious for working with timber companies to intrude into the Orang Asli forest settlements and cut down trees, deforesting huge swathes of precious life giving rainforests.
They used the Royal Malaysian Police to destroy the blockades put up by the Orang Asli natives to stop the ecological and environmental destruction of the forests which are the Orang Asli's only source of livelihood and source of water.

They devastated the Lojing Highlands and many other forests to such a state that resulted in the horrific flooding of various parts of Kelantan such as the Manik Urai, Kuala Krai and surrounding areas.
State sanctioned logging has devastated many forest areas in Kelantan, destroying the lives of the Orang Asli natives who depended upon the rainforests to sustain their lives.

You would think that after the devastating floods that crippled the State of Kelantan in 2014, the logging pirates of Kota Bharu would have repented but looks like the PAS led State Government are back to their greedy rampage of timber and couldn't care less if another major flood occurs again!
I am just bewildered as to why the Pakatan Harapan Federal Government is allowing the Royal Malaysian Police to be misused by the Kelantan State Government and their logging company cronies to destroy the remaining forest reserves which are the traditional settlement areas of the Orang Asli's of Kelantan?
